Compensation: Competitive based on experience.

Job Description: At TAG, we have several departments involved in servicing each client including a Reactive Support Team, Proactive Support Team, and a Professional Service Team.  This position will serve as an escalation engineer for both our reactive and proactive departments.  A typical day will involve working with clients, both on site and remotely, to resolve issues with their Servers, PC's, peripherals, and networks. The candidate must have a good balance of technical, people and problem solving skills. 
 
THIS JOB REQUIRES FREQUENT SITE VISITS - ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE LOCAL.  THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring clients into alignment with our best practices and standards through remediation
  • Resolve escalated tickets from our reactive team
  • Assist our project team with projects, new client integration, and network mapping
  • Analyze ticket trends to identify and drive down reactive issues
  • Review and update documentation 
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to craft recommendations for our clients

Required Qualifications:

  • Applicant must have consulting experience, a strong Windows Server and Desktop background and a solid understanding of networking. 
  • 5 plus years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with all windows server and desktop versions and migration experience
  • A solid understanding of SANs, virtualization, and networking
    • Windows Server (all versions)
